Lance Edmands
Lance Edmands is a writer, director, and editor. He was born and raised in a small town on the coast of Maine and graduated from NYU Tisch School of the Arts. His first feature film as writer/director, BLUEBIRD, was invited to the Sundance Institute Screenwriters and Directors Labs and was awarded grants from Cinereach, the Richard Vague/Chris Columbus Production Fund, and the San Francisco Film Society.
Flo Baumann
Flo worked on feature films in Switzerland and Germany before graduating from the Zurich University of the Arts film program early 2012. His thesis film ‘Corpus’ (30min, 2011) was nominated by the German Film Academy for ‘Best Narrative Short’ and went on to play at plenty of festivals around the globe. In the same year, he moved to the US to continue my studies in NYU Tisch MFA Film Program.
Jessica Kingdon
Jessica Kingdon is a Chinese-American director/producer interested in the intersection of experimental cinema and mainstream media. She was named one of 25 New Faces of Independent Film by Filmmaker Magazine. Her residencies include the UnionDocs Lab and the Points North Institute Shortform Editing Residency.
Matthew Puccini
Matthew Puccini is a Brooklyn-based, Bay Area-raised filmmaker. His first film, “Solo,” won the King Award for Screenwriting at NYU’s First Run Film Festival. His latest short, “The Mess He Made,” premiered at SXSW, has screened at over two dozen festivals and is shortlisted for this year’s Iris Prize, an international award recognizing excellence in LGBT cinema.
Dylan Allen
Dylan Allen is the founder of Amalgamated Picture Co, an award-winning production house based in Brooklyn, NY. His short film Epilogue premiered at the 2013 Tribeca Film Festival and was featured on Short of the Week, Vimeo Staff Picks, Fast Company, The Atlantic, io9, United Airlines, Film Shortage and NoBudge, where it was the most watched film of 2014. He is a card-carrying member of the Brooklyn Filmmakers Collective.
Karan Tejpal
Karan Tejpal's film initiation started as an AD on Lage Raho Munna Bhai in 2006. Quickly bitten by the cinema bug, he followed the experience with film school at New York Film Academy in 2007. This was his first true foray in the world of writing and directing. On his return to Bombay he worked on several feature films and multiple commercials as a 1st AD. During this period he simultaneously developed other projects – short films, documentaries and feature length scripts.
Jordan Bahat
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jordan got his start in documentaries with the award-winning feature film, Jealous of the Birds. His short-form documentary work has focused on subjects ranging from chefs to bands to a human cannonball - with clients such as IFC, MTV, and Nowness, amongst others. His most recent documentary short, The Bullet, was awarded special jury mention at Slamdance and a Vimeo Staff Pick.
Erin Vassilopoulos
Erin is a New York-based writer, director, and editor, originally from Minnesota. Her previous short film, SUPERIOR, premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, followed by a series of screenings including the Berlinale, Hong Kong International Film Festival, Los Angeles Film Festival, and BFI London Film Festival, before being acquired by ARTE.
