Nick Singer

Nick Singer, a native New Yorker, is a recent graduate of the MFA filmmaking program at Columbia University.

OTHER MONTHS, an official selection of the South by Southwest Film Festival and BAMcinemaFest, among others, was his first feature. FEBRUARY, his thesis at Wesleyan University, was selected as an in-competition short at the 2012 Slamdance Film Festival.

STELLA FOR STAR, his latest film, stars Emmy-nominated actress Robin Weigert, and was awarded the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Production Grant for its science-related subject. STELLA FOR STAR received faculty honors at Columbia, and has gone on to win the Hammer to Nail Short Film Contest, premiere at the Independent Film Festival Boston, and screen at the New Orleans, St. Cloud, and Big Apple Film Festivals.
