Nick Borenstein
Nick Borenstein is a New York-based writer, director, dancer, and actor. Nick wrote, directed and starred in "Sweater" and "99," short films that premiered at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival and went on to screen at the BFI London Film Festival, Outfest, Just For Laughs, the Seattle International Film Festival, InsideOut, MIX Copenhagen, the Palm Springs International ShortFest and many others.
In 2020, Nick premiered another short film, "Pete Can't Play Basketball," which screened at Frameline, Newfest and the Cannes Short Film Festival. Nick also wrote, directed, and starred in the comedic digital series "Trip," a selection of IFP's Screen Forward Lab, and "The Buddy System," a short film that was developed into a digital series for Elite Daily.
Additionally, Nick choreographed and staged "5INCO," a live dance performance during his 2019 Artist Residency at Casa Lü in Mexico City. In addition to filmmaking, Nick has also served as a creative executive and producer at Pivot, Hud:sun Media, and Topic. He is currently developing his debut feature film.
