Mimi Jeffries
Mimi Jeffries holds a B.A. in Theater Studies from Yale College and an M.F.A. in Film with distinction from Columbia University. Her first short, Open Roads, won screenwriting awards at the Nantucket Film Festival and HollyShorts Film Festival. Her short film Lily is currently on the festival circuit and premiered at the 2017 Dallas International Film Festival. In addition to writing and directing, Mimi has produced several shorts, including Dastaar (SXSW 2016, Short of the Week) and Socks & Bonds (2014 Palm Springs Short Film Festival, Short of the Week, USA Today).
Mimi's feature-length and episodic writing has been recognized by the Columbia University Film Festival (2014 Faculty Selects - Going Om) and the Nantucket Film Festival (2015 Finalist - Showtime Tony Cox Half Hour Episodic Pilot Competition - On Cloud Nine) in addition to being featured on John August and Craig Mazin’s Scriptnotes Podcast. She’s currently developing several feature-length scripts.
