Grace Kim
Grace Kim is a Brooklyn-based, Bay Area native filmmaker and writer who uses absurdist and surrealist elements as tools to explore characters' emotions and psychology in storytelling. As an artist, she is searching for unique expressions of common human experiences— exploring the ways that filmmakers can create an emotional, spiritual, or philosophical resonance between the audience and films through unusual symbols, composition, and visual association/dissociation.
Guy Soulsby
Guy Soulsby began directing from an early age and after winning praise from the National Science and Media Museum in Yorkshire for a short film project he moved to London aged 22. The next five years saw him direct work for various TV broadcasters before making the leap to become a freelance director.
Angeline Gragasin
Angeline Gragasin is a writer, filmmaker, and artist who tells stories about ecology, memory, and power. Her background is interdisciplinary, her work equal parts poetic expression and critical inquiry. She sees each project as an opportunity to ask questions, take risks, and experiment. Before she became a filmmaker, Gragasin trained extensively in mask, mime, and improvisational performance. This early emphasis on image and action-based storytelling continues to inform her work today.
Peter Dolshun
Peter Dolshun grew up in a single-note New Jersey suburb which caused him to yearn for more authentic and spiritually expansive experiences. Using his camera to capture the sentiments and diversity that his early life lacked, his narrative work serves as a meditation on the profound nature of real-life moments. Peter favors intimate, humanist portraits over extravagant plot points.
Michelle Uranowitz
Michelle Uranowitz is a New York based filmmaker, actor, and movement specialist. She has a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she now teaches movement and physical training to undergraduate and graduate actors.
Lorenzo Benitez
Lorenzo Benitez is a Filipino-Australian filmmaker based in New York. His award-winning and critically-acclaimed films, which include two features and several shorts, have been internationally streamed on Amazon Prime Video; programmed at the Maysles Documentary Center and Harvard University; nationally televised in Australia on the ABC; and theatrically exhibited in New York and Melbourne.
Daniel Ferrer
Daniel Ferrer is a writer and director based in Northern New Jersey. As a lifelong lover of films, Daniel pursued filmmaking at Montclair State University. An open book on his struggle with clinical depression and anxiety, his body of work is often punctuated with stories and characters dealing with the conditions.
