Daniel Bloom is a filmmaker currently based in Tel Aviv.
His debut short “Inside the Storm” premiered in Slamdance 2021. He is interested in finding things to film that he can’t quite describe in words, and things to write that he isn’t yet sure how to shoot.
He also edits for film and tv and writes.

“I was studying at film school at the time and felt frustrated with some projects. I was processing a break-up. There was a sense of being stuck, and subsequently a feeling of dislocation in my life. The first draft was written pretty much in a single moment, walking around in Jerusalem and finding the structure of the film.“
I love to film things, tell stories, and read on the subway. I'm pretty sure blue whales are my power animal.
